Well, at the first time I know PLH subject, I became so excited, it would be fun to have an environmental activities at school. I guessed that I and my class would plant tress around the school, clean the river, or something like that. YEAH! My guess was true!
(The notice in Bank Sampah and my school principal in Bank Sampah on its day of launching)
Until this time, I have joined many environmental activities at school. We made our own "Garbage Bank" or "Bank Sampah" in Indonesian. We sorted the garbage, the organic wastes in different trash-can, the anorganic too, yeah, at first, I though that the garbage-sorting activity is disgusting, but, at the end, it gives me much of fun!
I can feel, how the person who works as a scavengers in the TPA (Tempat Pembuangan Akhir), they must get along with the garbage everyday, so, I shoul say Alhamdulillah, because, I just do the garbage-sorting activity on Tuesday--on my picket day at school.
And... About the other Environmental actions at my school, our school has a corn-field, in front of the class-7 corridor, then, our teacher--Mr. Mujiono, one day, he asked us to clean it, wahahahaha, after cleaning the corn-field, we felt so itchy, I don't know, whether my friends wanna do it again or not, but, really, I want to do it again, even I'll feel itchy later, hahahaha :D.
I ever plant a Trembesi tree with my friends-- it was one year ago when I was a 7 grader, we dug some holes on a grass-field beside our school, we found some worms, a little snake, many insects, hahaha, I and my female friends didn't like the worm, so we shouted together when we found it, :P.
Then, after digging the hole, Mr. Mujiono gave us one little Trembesi tree-one tree for three students. Then, we planted it and... bury the root of the tree. After that, we took some waters and gave the water to the tress--it was a lot of fun--even if it was one year ago.
I'll update the other activities later.
So, as conclusion, I want to say, become an environmental person is giving us much of FUN! ^^
